The layer: infrastructure for AI that does real work.
Models alone do not make dependable software. Agents also need memory, access to knowledge, a way to receive work, credentials they can be trusted with, and an audit trail. The layer provides all of it as 20 services that work independently and are designed to work together.
One account for every service. Sign in with your NexusLayer account, or create one free, and use the whole layer.
Sign inCreate an accountModels
A single, governed entry point to Claude, Gemini, GPT and open models. Requests are routed by policy, fall back automatically when a provider is degraded, and are metered per application.
Memory and knowledge
Persistent agent memory alongside the notes, documents, wikis and graphs an organisation already owns, made searchable and citable for both people and agents.
Work
Task queues, visual workflows, scheduled reporting, data collection and workspace checkpoints: the machinery that turns a model into a dependable worker.
Trust and operations
Single sign-on, least-privilege secrets, end-to-end observability, automated code review and server automation, so agents can be given real responsibility safely.
Four foundations shared by every service.
Consistency is what turns a collection of tools into a platform. These four services underpin everything else.
Every request carries a NexusLayer identity
Identity issues a signed session token for people and a scoped, short-lived token for agents. Every service validates the same token, so access is granted and revoked in one place.
SwitchBoardEvery model call goes through the gateway
Services and products never hold provider keys. They call SwitchBoard (or ModelRouter for Anthropic-native tooling), which applies routing policy, fails over between providers and attributes cost.
AgentVaultEvery credential is fetched, never stored
When a workflow needs to reach an external system, it requests that specific secret from AgentVault for a limited time. Nothing sensitive lives in prompts, code or configuration.
WatchGridEvery action is observable
Model calls, tool invocations, memory access, secret requests and sign-ins are reported to WatchGrid, giving a single timeline of what happened, what it cost and who was responsible.
Let's build it together.
